X PLUS has wrapped up its yearly company-wide event which was once known as the “X PLUS Convention” but has since been changed to the “Innovation Awards” where 11 teams came together to present their ideas and progress for projects that aim to bring about more innovation both internally and externally.

Similar to last year’s event, with the current situation regarding COVID-19 and a desire to continue promoting digitalization, the Innovation Awards were held remotely with both the X PLUS headquarters and its Tokyo office coming together via its video conference system.

Teams from previous years typically presented their projects in a typical speech format but, in the spirit of innovation and to put a new spin on things, all the teams this year worked hard to produce their own videos that introduced viewers to their projects.

Many of the teams presented both innovative as well as creative ideas from ways to work even more efficiently through automation and other technologies, unique business models, environmentally safe products with SDGs in mind and products that are adapted to new lifestyles. It turned out to be a great and stimulating event for all the participants.

X PLUS will continue to devote itself to finding even more ways to grow and help others in the future!
